Competitive Watch privacy summary
Information collected
Operator Zero may store information a prospect or customer provides, including name, work email, company, company website, competitor names, approved target URLs, onboarding selections, service notes, billing identifiers, and service history. The service does not intentionally request sensitive personal information for ordinary Competitive Watch use.
Public monitoring data
The monitoring engine observes customer-approved public business pages and retains bounded factual signals, hashes, evidence references, timestamps, and structured change history needed to compare observations over time. It is not designed to collect private competitor account data or maintain unnecessary long-term copies of full page bodies.
Technical data
Hosting and security infrastructure may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, browser information, request timestamps, and security signals as needed to deliver and protect the service.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and secure the purchased service, establish customer monitoring scope, operate billing and support, generate and deliver reports, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, maintain service records, and improve monitoring quality.
Service providers
Operator Zero uses service providers where needed to operate the service. Stripe processes checkout, recurring billing, and payment records. Cloudflare provides hosting, edge delivery, database, and security infrastructure. These providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
Sale and advertising
Operator Zero does not sell prospect or customer contact information as a standalone data product and does not use Competitive Watch customer data for third-party targeted advertising.
Retention
Customer and service records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and meet legitimate billing, security, dispute, audit, and recordkeeping needs. Records may be deleted or de-identified when they are no longer reasonably needed.
Security
The service uses bounded public-web fetching, blocks private/local network targets, limits retained monitoring content, uses capability-scoped customer portal links, and does not store payment-card details directly. Payment-card information is handled by Stripe.
Requests
Customers may request access, correction, or deletion of ordinary prospect/customer information, subject to legitimate billing, security, dispute, and recordkeeping needs, using the customer-support contact provided with the service or on the Stripe receipt.
